Power

Like I said, you have a shit load of power, so don't abuse it, channel it into making a difference. The first step is to educate yourself. Reading one newspaper, or watching one new program does not qualify as an education. The media is bias, no matter which outlet you turn to, so go beyond that and learn about issues from the source.

To help get you started here are a few sites that may broaden your politeen horizon's
http://www.humanrightswatch.com/
BBC NEWS | News Front Page
Breaking News | Latest News | Current News - FOXNews.com
The New York Times - Breaking News, World News & Multimedia

Now keep in mind, all of these sites have an agenda, so read them all and then make up your own mind, trust me, you'll feel smarter almost instantly

But I'm only 15...

Ok so what? you're only 15, you can't smoke, drink or even vote yet so why should you give a shit about politics or the world around you?! Well first of all, because everything, yes even crap that is happening across the ocean, impacts your life and second of all, because you actually do have a lot of power. You are the future, you are a voice, and people will listen to you. But before you decide how to use your power, you should decide what's important to you. Human rights? The economy? Gun control? War?
What matters to you?
This blog will keep you updated on all things political and global without boring you to death (You're not the only one that CNN bores to tears) and the more feedback I get from you, the more I will tailor the reporting so if you want to talk about Darfur, tell me and we'll talk about it!
I mean sure, Perez Hilton is an awesome site, but it's sort of cool to stay updated on world events that do not include the color of Lady Gaga's underwear.

So, welcome! and tell me what you want to know.
